Shopping for the best gifts for men can at times seem like a daunting task, whether it be for a birthday, an anniversary, or any gift in between. So, we decided to help you out and lend you a hand and make gift-giving a little less stressful with a thoughtfully curated list of tried-and-true gifts suited for men. And at times, no matter how well or how long you have known someone, you just don't know where to look.

MTailor was featured on Shark Tank in 2013 and although it wasn't as successful on getting funded on the TV show, it's gone on to become a multi-million dollar business all on its own. MTailor creates a custom suit from your measurements at home with a twist: You'll use an app to take pictures of yourself in your best-fitted clothing, and MTailor will do the rest. The company boldly claims their app is 20% more accurate than a tailor. Suits range between $399 and $799, and countless 5-star reviews from satisfied customers mean these suits might be the most no-brainer purchase you've ever made.

If you're looking for suits by Armani, BOSS, or Versace that you can later get tailored yourself, Nordstrom has an amazing selection of suits by the biggest in fashion. Nordstrom has pinstripes, wool blends, and more, and you can snag a very high-quality suit from some of the leading menswear designers in the business. Nordstrom also handles returns on a case-by-case basis without a time limit, so if you find your suit can't be tailored to your satisfaction, Nordstrom will work with you on a free return. The retailer also offers alteration and tailoring services on-site, and for certain Nordy Club member tiers, you can get those alterations for free.

Nordstrom Rack has tons of suits from brands such as Calvin Klein, Ted Baker London, and Tommy Hilfiger, and also its own line of suits. Nordstrom has full suits for reasonably low prices and many pieces that are on sale. And, best of all, you can go to Nordstrom Rack in person to get fitted alterations and repairs, including hemming and side adjustments.

While we don't necessarily recommend you shop at Belk for your wedding attire, their suits are best for the yearly Christmas party or costume party. Their suits go as low as $28, and go up to $495 with a handful for Lauren Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein suits. However, the higher-quality suits have extremely limited sizing, and you might be able to find those brands elsewhere on this list.

Autumn in Japan is a beautiful time of year, with the leaves changing color and the weather cooling down. Temperatures generally hover between 50F and 70F (10 to 21C) and can be humid or chilly. This is also considered typhoon season so be sure to bring along an umbrella in case an unexpected storm appears. The northern reaches of Hokkaido may start to see flurries as early as October while Okinawa is still enjoying temperatures around 75F (26C). Here are some clothing tips for what to wear in Japan during the autumn season.

The beauty of Ralph Lauren suits is the ability to mix and match pieces easily within their collections, meaning you can build out multiple looks from just a few classic pieces. This makes them one of the best brands for top-end suits that combine ease and comfort with classic elegance. The Ralph Lauren Purple Label collection is the brand's high-end collection, but they do have others available.

This depends on you. Are you building an office wardrobe? Do you wear suits only on special occasions, or do you live in them? The more you wear suits, the more suits you will need, and if you work and play in them you may even find yourself changing suits within the span of a single day. Ideally, you want at least one business-appropriate suit, a business-casual outfit or blazer, a dressy suit or tuxedo for high-end events, and something you can wear in hot weather. Tuxedos are best kept black, and suits in navy and charcoal are great core colors to begin building your collection. But have some fun and buy a suit you love for its own sake, too.

Nordstrom sales are predictable (they typically happen at the same time of year) and easy to navigate. They even post the dates up to a year in advance. You can go to the FAQ page for current sale date information.

Throughout the year, Nordstrom has items marked down in each department (usually always on one or two racks, not spread through the department) but during the Half-Yearly they pull it all out! Insider Tip: They usually actually put it out the few days before the sales starts. If you want the best pick of selection and sizes go early (or shop online as soon as the sale goes live).

Several times throughout the year, Nordstrom will quietly price match sale items from other major retailers. We generally see the higher-end brands go on sale like Clarins, Estee Lauder, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Clinique and more.

Nowadays, they are made of state-of-the-art material designed in cutting-edge labs by actual space scientists, looking for every last way to reduce friction in the water. Tested with the best swimmers on the planet, tech suits help swimmers swim fast.

Online retailers such as Amazon carry a decent selection of tech suits, particularly older racing suits. But the best place to buy a tech suit is at Swim Outlet, a US-based company that now ships worldwide.

Olivier Poirier-Leroy is a former national level swimmer and the author of the books YourSwimBook and Conquer the Pool. He writes all things high-performance swimming, and his articles were read over 3 million times last year. His work has appeared on USA Swimming, SwimSwam, STACK, NBC Universal, and more. He's also kinda tall and can be found on Twitter.

Brooks Brothers is most well known for their suits, but they have a wide range of high-end clothes, from chinos to sweaters. The brand prioritizes quality, and you can be sure that the fabrics used are among the absolute best.

T-shirts are quintessential for any wardrobe. Whether you're searching for something stretchy and moisture-wicking to work out in, comfortable for lounging at home, or cheap to stock up on, you'll find plenty of options from nearly every clothing company. I've selected nine of the best T-shirts out of the many brands I've personally tested or bought over the years.

You're probably more familiar with Mott & Bow for its ridiculously comfortable jeans, but the brand also makes just as soft and supple tees. The Driggs Classic Crew is one of its best sellers for good reason. Made from 100% Peruvian cotton, they have a sensuous hand feel and hang really nicely (not too tight, not too boxy). The Driggs, made in Peru, comes in 21 colors and the brand loves to throw more colors into the rotation pretty regularly. I've had several of the Driggs Tees for more than a year, and wear them all the time. I've run them through many wash cycles and they're still looking fresh with no fading, pilling, or loose threads. If you follow the washing/drying instructions, they'll last a long time. You can save a few bucks if you bundle them as well (3 and 6 packs are available).

For me, Alex Crane really shines with its lightweight summer wear, that's not to say that the brand doesn't also do an amazing job with colder-weather clothing. But Alex Crane's use of lighter fabrics, especially linen, is truly exceptional when combined with its timeless but never fussy style. The name says it all. The Sun Tee in the Rio colorway will be your go-to warm-weather tee with its classic yarn-dye striped linen fabric. They sustainably produce the linen in France and knit it in Portugal. The shirt throws off heavy seaside vibes and, like all the brand's clothing, it's meticulously crafted to last for years. Pair it with my favorite summer trousers, the Cham Pants, and a linen Kite jacket for the perfect summer look.

Buck Mason, one of our favorite menswear brands, produces high-caliber quality staples that are truly built to last. Good thing the brand is all about timeless style too since you'll be wearing their clothes for years. Case in point: the Field Spec Heavy Cotton Tee. It's made from rugby-weight cotton for a super-sturdy shirt that drapes nicely and is cut so it's not clingy but not super boxy either. It's the perfect tee for transitional weather. Considering its heft, I was surprised at how soft it was, with a lived-in feel straight out of the package.

The renowned Italian fashion label Fendi, founded in Rome nearly 100 years ago and best known for its leather handbags, remains continually creative yet consistently craftsmanship driven. While retaining old-world elegance, the fashion house playfully pushes boundaries with its menswear. The Multicolor Jersey T-shirt features the label's stylized cloud print on an oversized tee of white jersey that's made in Italy.

Long before the fashion world co-opted the style, the American heritage brand Carhartt was making hard-wearing workwear, and 100+ years on, it continues to excel at its trade. The brand introduced its loose-fit heavyweight short-sleeve pocket T-shirt back in 1992 and it continues to be a bestseller. They make it from a durable but soft heavy-weight 100% cotton jersey cut for a looser fit so you don't feel constricted while you work. That being said, just because it's billed as a work shirt doesn't mean it can't be for play too. And with 21 colors to choose from, everything from Pale Apricot to Brite Orange, you can let your wild side show if you want. The shirt also features a left-chest pocket with the iconic Carhartt patch logo and comes in a vast range of sizes. 041b061a72
